Huh? Mysidian law says you apprentice for a few years before you get promoted to full mage. There are normal tests throughout the 'pprenticeship, but, uhh. Never heard of THE test.

Oh! Maybe ya mean the process of being confirmed as a Sage! No one knows what that is. It's super secret.

Ah yes, the difference in worlds. I don't think I quite approve. In my own world, we are required to take a Test to prove our ability and dedication to our magic. Those without the proper skill and resolve find this test to be fatal. It is to ensure that the secrets of magic are only handed down to those with the ability and will to wield it properly.

. . . You know, that sounds kinda scary. Not everyone can be as talented as me, but that doesn't mean they should get offed for it. That, and magic's not exactly an exclusive thing where I come from. Anyone can learn it if they try.
